Phillies' Kyle Schwarber Hints At Preferred Destination in Free Agency
For the last four years, Schwarber has become the ultimate fan favorite in Philadelphia. His 181 home runs since signing with the Phillies are second in all of baseball only to New York Yankees star Aaron Judge, and he's taken his game to a new level by hitting 50 more of them this season alone (prior to Thursday's games).
Schwarber will hit the open market in November, and even as a designated hitter, he should have a boatload of interest because of the power he provides. Is there any shot he leaves?
The 32-year-old commented on his impending free agency on Thursday, and although he wasn't in the mood for predictions, he affirmed that he was interested in a return to Philadelphia.
