In Forza Horizon 6, your progression in the Festival is tracked through Wristband tiers. These tiers control which cars you can use, which events you can unlock, and eventually grant access to Japan’s biggest races and secret areas. Advancing your wristband requires earning Horizon Festival Points (FP) and completing key milestone events.
The 7 Wristband Tiers
You start the game as an unranked Tourist, then climb the tiers as follows:
Yellow (Rookie) – Limited to D and C-class vehicles.
Green – Beat the "Pier Pressure" event at Tokyo Docks.
Blue – Unlocks faster cars and more official races.
Pink – Mid-tier access to higher-speed festival events.
Orange – Near-endgame tier for S1-class vehicles.
Purple (Elite) – Opens S2-class Hypercars for official races.
Gold (Horizon Legend) – Grants access to Legend Island and the epic Goliath race, the longest in series history.
Each tier is gated by a special Wristband Event, such as a Showcase, Horizon Rush, or other challenge. Completing the event officially promotes you to the next color.
Fast Ways to Earn Festival Points
Earning FP efficiently is key to moving through tiers quickly. Focus on stacking points across multiple activities rather than repeating the same race:
1. Curated Festival Events
Complete Road, Dirt, and Cross Country races.
Early tiers limit you to slower cars, so precision driving is more important than speed at first.
2. Chain PR Stunts
Japan’s map is packed with Speed Traps, Drift Zones, and Danger Signs.
Link these stunts in a single run to rack up skill chain multipliers, which feed FP directly to your wristband meter.
3. Three-Star Horizon Rush Courses
Tackle obstacle courses at Tokyo City Docks, Sotoyama Ski Resort, and Irokawa Space Centre.
Achieving 3 stars gives a massive FP boost.
4. Play Horizon Play (Online Multiplayer)
Multiplayer progression contributes to your campaign wristband.
Every rank you climb online (up to Level 25) adds points toward your next tier.
Pro Tips
Mix activities: Alternate between races, stunts, and online sessions to keep FP gains consistent.
Save high-performance cars: Use your fastest cars on obstacle events and PR stunt chains for maximum points.
Plan routes: Map out stunt chains to cover multiple Speed Traps, Drift Zones, and Danger Signs in one run.
By combining these strategies, you can move efficiently from Yellow Rookie all the way to Gold Horizon Legend, unlocking the best cars, events, and secret content in Forza Horizon 6.
